Susan Simonton
Controller
Susan is a seasoned accounting professional with more than 35 years of experience in finance. Before joining Ventura, Susan worked for an Employee Owned company for over 17 years, giving her extensive ESOP knowledge and a valued perspective on Ventura’s operations. She is responsible for all aspects of Ventura’s financial reporting and accounting functions.
Susan has a proven track record of success in leading and managing financial teams. She is a strategic thinker with a strong attention to detail. She is also a highly effective communicator and relationship builder.
Susan is a member of the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO). Outside of the office, she enjoys visiting family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoys attending plays, musicals, and concerts, playing cards, playing Mah Jongg, and walking her dog, Tilly. Volunteering for the Mount Gretna Fire Department, Mount Gretna Music and Mount Gretna Theater and the Mount Gretna Art Show is also very important to her.
