Maria Frontera Cambronera, CPA
Relationship Manager
As a relationship manager at Ventura, Maria is responsible for all aspects of client relationships. This includes leading ESOP transactions from the trustee side alongside financial and legal advisors, as well as leading trustee responsibilities for ongoing ESOP clients, such as the annual valuation update. As a native Spanish speaker, Maria also leads education sessions for Spanish-speaking participants at ESOP companies.
Maria is a member of the National Center for Employee Ownership and the ESOP Association.
Prior to joining Ventura in 2021, Maria worked as a Financial Analyst intern at the Beyster Institute. In this role she worked alongside leading ESOP professionals to advise companies pursuing transitions to employee ownership. Previously, Maria worked in mergers and acquisitions research at PricewaterhouseCoopers and spent two years in mergers and acquisitions for ESOPs. Maria also has experience teaching undergraduate courses in corporate and international finance and macroeconomics.
Maria earned her bachelor’s degrees in science economics and internal business economics, and her Master of Finance from University of California, San Diego.
Maria loves surfing, weightlifting, good food, and books. She lives with her husband.
