Michael Lovett, ASA
Director
As a director at Ventura, Michael is responsible for all aspects of client relationships. He leads and supports ESOP transactions from the trustee side alongside financial and legal advisors. He also leads trustee responsibilities for ongoing clients, such as the annual valuation update.
Michael is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) and is a part of the American Society of Appraisers. He is also a member of the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) and The ESOP Association (TEA) where he sits on the TEA Valuation Advisory Committee and the TEA CA/NV Chapter Steering Committee.
Prior to joining Ventura in 2025, Mike spent over 10 years at boutique investment banking and business valuation firm. He was responsible for project leadership and execution on mergers & acquisitions, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) transactions, and other investment banking and valuation advisory assignments.
Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate & Law at California State Polytechnic University in Pomona.
Michael is based in California, where he lives with his wife and their bulldog, Linguine. When he’s not working, he enjoys camping, live music, and supporting his favorite sport teams: the Dodgers, Lakers, and Seahawks.
